Will Your Anchor Hold?

Hebrews 6:19-20
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil (Hebrews 6:19).

Friend, the days ahead may be full of uncertainties, but when you know whom you have believed, you will be bold to stand firm till the end. The hymn writer says, “We have an anchor that keeps our soul. Steadfast and sure while the billows roll”. Jesus is the anchor that holds our soul.

When it seems all hell is breaking loose on you, do not give up. Let your faith in the God of all creation, keep you strong. God will help you and you will overcome. Jesus Christ can hold us and keep us in the time of trouble. That is why I believe the word that says, “God is a refuge, a present help in the time of trouble” (Psalm 46:1). I have experienced His help many times that I am very sure He will come through for me again.

Stand firm. Remember, storms do not blow forever. Every trial and problem has an expiry date. If we do not faint, we will win. Will your anchor hold or will you faint? Your anchor cannot hold if you do not have the knowledge of God’s word to know what He says about your future.

Get into the word and discover who you are in Him. Prepare yourself before the storms come then you will be ready, holding tightly to the Lord Jesus. Shalom.
