We Can Trust God

2 Thessalonians 1: 3-7
Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you (2 Thessalonians 1: 6, King James Version).

We have all experienced one misfortune or the other. A misjudgment, misunderstanding, persecution or

mistreatment from others and we wondered how long this would last or when it would stop.  We even go as far as telling God, “How long before you deliver me from the hands of my enemies”?

Yet, we know that many times God’s response and timing do not match our time. Even though we want God to intervene, a lot of times He does not seem to be ready to do so. At such times we may feel disappointed but God is not sleeping. He is waiting for the perfect time.

Paul said even though we are in this confusion we can be rest assured that God will judge our persecutors and those who trouble us. The Bible says, “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you (2 Thessalonians 1:6, King James Version).

Since this is the word of the Lord, we can trust God and His timing to act while we continue to live right because in the end we will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God.
