Uncommon Blessings
Deuteronomy 28:12-13
The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. (Deuteronomy 28:12).
Uncommon blessing is another benefit of open heaven. The showers of blessing would come in the place where God is. God’s rain would fall. We will begin to see the flow of God’s favor, grace, increase and abundance in the way we have never seen before. I have experienced this and I know that only God’s hand and His favor could have caused such blessing to come.
The Bible tells us more. “The LORD will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow” (Deuteronomy 28:12). I love this and I want to experience more of it.
In addition to physical blessing, open heaven comes with spiritual blessing. When you are above and not beneath it means that you are winning the battle of life with the arm of the Lord on your side.
Friend, God has hidden riches and resources on the earth that He wants to give us so that we can live the abundant life. Let us seek His face. See Psalm 115:16; 68:10, 19, Isaiah 45:3.
As you gain more understanding about open heaven, be assured that every area of your life family, ministry, business, career, finance, etc. would be blessed also. Let us pray.
Your Turn
- Thank God for drawing us closer to the blessing we have in God.
- Pray that your heart will desire a fresh encounter with the Lord.
