Time To Celebrate

Isaiah 26:12-15
Lord, You will establish peace for us, For You have also done all our works in us (Isaiah 26:12).

It is time to celebrate the faithfulness of God. I have many reasons to thank the Lord. As a family we faced many challenges this year but the Lord saw us through.

Personally, I grew in my walk with my Lord, as I understood His word and His love for us more deeply. This year, I became more dependent on the Holy Spirit as I look to Him to renew and refresh me in every area of my life. I am in transition so I needed Him to help me see the way to the next level. He did and He is still helping me. How about you? Do you have any reason to thank God?

I like the way the King James Version renders today’s verse. It says, “Lord, thou wilt ordain peace for us: for thou also hast wrought all our works in us” (Isaiah 26:12).The word “wrought” portrays God as a craftsman who carefully creates. To “wrought” means to work into shape, by artistry or effort. It serves as a past participle for the word “work”.

Friend, God has blessed us this year, let us say, “Thank You” to Him. As we thank Him, we can trust Him to “ordain peace for us” in the New Year as we navigate through it by faith with Him on our side.  Praise the Lord. Hallelujah!

Your Turn

  • Worship the One who does great things.
  • Praise Him for the peace that He will grant you in the New Year.
  • Pray that your family will know peace and walk in the blessing of the Lord.

Song:  You are worthy to be praised.
