Psalm 119:130
The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. (Psalm 119:130, NIV).

We give God all the praise for counting us worthy to be among the living. And we trust that He will continue to sustain us by His mercy. “So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy” (Romans 9:16).

Friend, this is the month of light. This month, I believe the resurrected King will open our hearts to understand His word and unfold mysteries of the kingdom to us. Our paths will be enlightened by Him as we choose to walk and live daily by the truth of the word we know.

When we are lighted by the Lord through His word, our hearts will be illuminated. To illuminate is to clarify something, that is, to make something easier to understand. It is to enlighten somebody: to provide somebody with the knowledge or with intellectual or spiritual enlightenment.

Friend, it is my prayer that you will experience God and His word this way. May the “unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple” (Psalm 119:130, NIV).

Make up your mind and create time to search the Scriptures this month so that the King can reveal Himself to you and show you His ways. When you do you will be glad you did.

You will begin to live life by revelation of the word. Shalom.
