Sustain Our Peace
Romans 5:1-2
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1)
The knowledge and awareness of our justification in Christ Jesus is followed by the blessing of peace in our hearts.
When you know that God loves and accepts you, and you are no longer under the penalty of sin or condemnation, you will have peace.
Apostle Paul writes, “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” (Romans 5:1-2).
Don’t ever forget, you have peace with God. James Conrad said, “I take it that what all men are really after is
some form of, perhaps only some formula of, peace”. For us, we do not have to look further; we have peace with God through Jesus Christ. With faith in Him and His finished work on the cross, we have passed from death to life.
If you have Jesus you can come before God to confess your sins, receive His mercy and forgiveness, and be blessed by Him. “There is no way to peace, peace is the way”, says A. J Muste. For us believers, Jesus is the Prince of peace and He is the way. The good news is that we have Him living in us. Keep this truth in mind! Shalom.
