Luke 4:14-15, 31-44
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power. (Luke 4:32).

Lichtenberg advised, “Never undertake anything for which you wouldn’t have the courage to ask the blessings of Heaven”. The good news is the blessing of the Lord is already on those who seek open heaven.  Below are more benefits:

1. Signs and wonders: Signs and wonders followed Jesus easily because He had been empowered by God. He did not struggle to heal the sick because the Spirit of the Lord has anointed Him to do so. He has also learned the secret of keeping His heaven open through prayer and spending time with Father alone. See Mark 1:35.

From the passage we read we could see that the key to Jesus’ life and ministry is open heaven. When our heavens are open, the rivers will begin to flow out of our belly too (John 7:38). These rivers are the ability and the gifts of the Holy Spirit flowing out of us to bless our world.

2. Increase and growth: When God smiles on you and sends His rain, growth will come. God is not afraid of our increase and growth. He said He will increase us and comfort us on every side. The question still remains. Do you want open heaven? Are you willing to travail and secure one? Are you willing to sustain one, once it is open unto you? Think on these things. Shalom.
