Prayer For Nigeria
Psalm 122:1-9
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces”.
Psalm 122:7.
Today, we will pray for the peace of Nigeria, so that it may go well with the country. We will prosper in the
nation. We must pray for her peace and prosperity. If the country is peaceful and prosperous, then we can plan and
be at peace too.
1. Thank God for the opportunity to pray for Nigeria.
2. Confess the sins of our land and ask for forgiveness – including bloodshed.
3. Ask the Lord to show mercy and grant peace to reign in Nigeria.
4. Pray for justice for those who have been treated unjustly.
5. Pray for the revival of our economy. Ask God to send down prosperity again.
6. Ask the Lord for wisdom for our leaders to manage the nation well.
7. Pray for the President and the executives.
8. Ask God for men of integrity to manage the agencies set up to control corruption.
9. Come against ethnic wars, invasion and commotion in the land.
10. Thank God for answered prayers.
