Nothing Shall Hurt You
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).
The fear of death and attacks are becoming one of the fears we are experiencing as believers in our time. In times past, it used to be the fear of failure or success. It used to be the fear of not making heaven or pleasing the Lord. But now, the enemy appears to be succeeding in making believers to feel fearful and helpless.
Yes, it is true that we are the object of the enemy’s hatred and attacks, but we are not helpless. We have been empowered by the Lord Jesus. The father Himself has made provision for our victory. The Bible says, “He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm” (Psalm 105:14-15). We are His people. We are His anointed.
Jesus told the disciples, “Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you” (Luke 10:19, NLT). Friend, we have the power. We must not fear or be intimidated or cowered from using the authority and the power God has given us.
You have a heritage in God. This heritage gives you access to the power and presence of God. Have faith. Choose to believe and declare that nothing shall by any means hurt you.
