Lord, Lift Me Up
Psalm 3:1- 8
But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high. (Psalm 3:3, NIV).
s we come to the end of the first quarter, it is good for us to take time to pray and prepare for the next quarter. The Bible says, “If the ax is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed, but skill will bring success” (Ecclesiastes 10:10, NIV). We must not allow our axe to become dull. We must be proactive and sharpen it so that we can be more successful.
Today, we will begin our three days fast as we ask the Lord to lift us up. In any area that we have experienced weakness, failed and or have been attacked, we need the lifting of the Lord. The Psalmist did not live in denial. He acknowledged to God that his troubles have increased. We must be honest with God about our condition too. Use today’s Psalm to pray.
- Thank God for the gift of life and for the battles He has fought for you.
- Praise Him for being your helper and your salvation.
- Affirm your faith in God as the lifter of your head.
- Ask the Lord to lift you up above your enemies. Psalm 30:1.
- Pray for a lifting, increase and enlargement in every area of your life.
- Ask God to save you from every satanic plots and
- Pray that the Lord will pour His blessing on you.
Your Turn
- Thank God for His faithfulness and the promise to heal you.
