Let God Be Your Sufficiency

2 Corinthians 3:5-6
Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God (2 Corinthians 3:5).

Friend, it is good to know that when we are weak, God in

Christ Jesus will supply the strength  we need. It is good to know that we are not alone in any errand that the Lord sends us because He is with us and His presence will supply all that is lacking.

Personally, this knowledge and understanding continually help me to see every invitation to teach or preach as an invitation not to me but to the One who lives in me. It is an opportunity for God to use my mouth and my voice as His tools to minister to His people. When I sit to write ‘Fresh Bread’, I know I am not alone. The One who qualifies me is with me to help me. God, my sufficiency will supply all that I need.

Friend, in whom is your confidence? Is your confidence in your qualifications and abilities? Paul told the Corinthians that, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God”.  He knew without God they could do nothing.

We will be wiser to confess the same and let God be our sufficiency. When next you are faced with any challenge and or an assignment that is beyond you, call on God to be your sufficiency. He will answer you. Shalom.
