Hold On To His Promises

Isaiah 55:1-13
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please…
Isaiah 55:11.

Today’s Bible passage makes me feel I was being washed by the water of the word. I was refreshed in my soul. It is a joy to know that my God is faithful, and His word will never fail. May this be your experience too.

Today, the Father says, “I am thinking of you and I will fulfil my promises to you”. A promise is a pledge to somebody to provide or do something. It also means a vow, which is to assure somebody that something will certainly happen or be done.

This truly describes God’s word to us. He promised to save us and be our shepherd; He has not failed. Has God promised you anything? Hold on to His word. He will not fail you because His word cannot return unto Him without accomplishing the purpose for which He said it.

Hear Him again, “For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands” (Isaiah 55:12). That settles it for me! And because God cannot lie, I believe it and I know it will be according to His word in my life.

Let us learn to hold on to God’s promises. The word you receive and believe, is the word that will profit you. Shalom.
