The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives (Psalm 37:23, New Living Translation).

I encourage you this week to have faith in God and trust His love for you and His judgement concerning your life. Why do I say so? It is because God delights in every detail of our lives. For me, it means He is concerned about everything I am going through. He sees and knows it all. My desire to please Him, obey His word and lead the good life is open to Him.

The Bible says, The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives (Psalm 37:23, New Living Translation). To delight simply means to take pleasure in something or someone. God is interested in our lives. Every detail is important to Him. He knows all about your needs and desires.

No wonder the Bible says, And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows (Matthew 10:30-31, New Living Translation). If my hair is important to God and He knows their number, how much more my destiny and the fulfilment of His purpose for my life?

Since I understood this truth I have decided to enter my rest and trust God to lead me and help me to be who He wants me to be. Daily I am trusting God to answer my prayers and bring me to my expected end in His time and at His pace. This has helped me to be more patient, focused on the assignment at hand and let God handle the future – that I am so concerned about.

Overall, I have become more stable, more peaceful and more thankful for where I am now and for what I am doing now.
