Grace For Every Season

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work (NKJV).

God gives us grace for every season of our lives. No matter where you are, the stage you are in life and whatever you may be going through, God’s grace is available to you.

We need grace as young adults to grow in God, know Him more, make the right choices and live for His glory. We need grace as married persons to cope with the stress of marriage, raising children and taking care of yourself while aspiring to fulfil our life purpose. We need grace as business persons to manage our businesses well – grace to conduct our affairs with Christian ethics so that our lives can be a testimony to others.

Whichever way you look at it, we need God’s grace. The good news is that through our Lord Jesus Christ, we have access to the grace of God that empowers and sustains.

The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 9:8, “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work” (NKJV). Paul used the word all three times in this verse. It means in whatever situation that you may be in, it falls within all and God can make all grace abound towards you.

Grace is God’s unmerited favour. Beyond that, it is God’s favour bestowed on a man without recourse to his actions and behaviours. That is why it is unmerited. We did not work for it or deserve it but God is willing to give it to us so that we can be empowered and strengthened to be who He wants us to be and accomplish His plans.

As you go through the month, be assured that you have grace for the season you are in. All you need to do is to ask God for grace when you need it. He will supply and He will help and meet your needs. Shalom.
