Give Glory To God

1 Corinthians 15:10b
But I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

As we begin to take stock of our lives and plan for the incoming year, let us not lose sight of who has helped us. Apostle Paul, writing to the Corinthian church, gave the reason for his achievements. It was working hard with the grace of God upon his life. “I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me”. (1 Corinthians 15:10b).

No matter what we have achieved, it is because God has empowered us to prosper by His grace. So give Him the glory. Whether you were able to buy a land, a car, or you passed your examinations, moved into a new house, or got promoted; all these are good things and God deserves the glory. The Lord is the One who has blessed us because His love towards us never fails.

Friend, let this chorus lead you into worship today as you give Him thanks and praise:

All the glory must be to the Lord, For He is worthy of our praise,

No man on earth should give glory to himself, All the glory must be to the Lord.

Simmons writes: “Gratitude to God should be as habitual as the reception of mercies is constant, as ardent as the number of them is great, as devout as the riches of divine grace and goodness is incomprehensible.” Shalom.
