Mark 5:25-34
When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” (Mark 5:27-28).

Faith is the key that unlocks the door to our miracle. Faith in God and His word is the power that pulls down the blessing. In today’s Bible passage, I noticed the following:

Frist, when the woman with the issue of blood heard about Jesus, she believed that Jesus could help her. This is faith in the person of Jesus. Second, she heard about what He had done for others. This is faith in what Jesus can do. It is faith in the power of God.

Third, she believed that what Christ did for others, He could do for her. This is faith in the work of Christ through the testimonies of others. No wonder Jesus told His audience that even if they do not believe in Him, they should believe Him for the work He did. See John 14:11.

Friend, we must make out time to hear the word of God and the testimony of His people so that we can build our faith. This would help us to believe that what He did for them, He can do for us too.

As I write this page, I am in physical pain, but I believe God for His touch in my life and the situation with one of my family members.  May we all experience the victory we believe Him for today in Jesus’ Name. Shalom.
