Expect To Be Led

Isaiah 45:1-7
I will go before you and make the crooked
places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze
and cut the bars of iron (Isaiah 45: 2).

Friend, as we begin to round off on our theme, I want to emphasize again that God loves us and wants to guide us. Let us trust Him to do so. God is the One who has decided to lead us. He wants to reveal hidden secrets to us so that we can excel in life and be the best in our endeavors.

He told Cyrus, “I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron. I will give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, that you may know that I, the LORD, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel” (Isaiah 45:2-3). That is what God wants to do for us too. Let us expect it.

Let us expect God to go before us and open the double doors. Expect God to lead us in the paths that will bring Him glory. Friend, expect God to go ahead of you and fight the enemy so that you can arrive at your destination. I am expecting God to do that for me as I wait on Him to lead and guide me into my next level.

I expect Him to lead me to hidden treasures, give me creative ideas to be innovative on my job, business and ministry so I can excel. How about you? Let us pray.

Your Turn

  • Talk to God about your expectation of Him to lead you.
  • Pray that you will hear when He speaks.
  • Ask for the grace to obey His voice.

Song: Lord, I believe. All things are possible.
