Do Not Be Deceived

2 Corinthians 11:14-15; 2 Timothy 3:1-5
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an  angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14 , NIV ).

Extending the thoughts that we shared yesterday, if the church does not heed the warning of the Lord and the Apostles, we may be heading for more trouble than what we see now.

The current happenings in some churches, Christian television stations and crusades should give us concern.  We must watch, so we are not deceived. The Bible says, “No wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve” (2 Corinthians 11:14-15, NIV).

You see, we do not need a pastor with charisma, quality finesse, and beauty to hear God, if that will lure us away from focusing on the Living God. We do not need someone who uses satanic powers to work miracles in our crusades and programs before we can know that God is in our midst. We do not need a demon possessed prophetess to be blessed by God.

Please, be alert. I would rather stay in the word, pray to hear God for myself and let Him do what He alone can do in His time than seek quick results without the source. Let him that hath an ear hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying. Shalom.
