Daniel 10:1-21
But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days. (Daniel 10:13).

We will round off this section as we look at the influence of demonic attacks in closing the heavens.

Demonic attacks are those targeted towards us from satanic strongholds. Their aim is to steal, to kill and to destroy as the Scripture says in John 10:10a. They may come with the aim of closing the heaven over our lives so that we would not receive answers to our prayers.

The prince of Persia hindered Daniel’s prayers. Interestingly, God had answered Daniel the first day he prayed but for twenty-one days the enemy waged war to block the answers from getting to him.  He does this to us too on many occasions. That is why we must not be quick to give up on our prayers.

Daniel refused to give up. His experience with God had taught him that God would hear and answer him. He knew that God would show up sooner or later and he would have the victory. His persistent prayer moved God to send extra angelic help to reinforce the efforts of the one with the answer. God defended Daniel. The battle was won.

God will do the same for us. We must not be afraid of satan and his agents. All we have to do is to seek to live under open heaven and walk in obedience to the will of God. Shalom.
