Deep Roots And More Wells

Genesis 26:17-33
And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.” (Genesis 26:22).

Friend, I sense in my heart that this is the year believers must dig deep roots in God and not allow themselves to be swayed by the happenings around. This is the end times. Satan will seek to distract us and cause us to lose our first love for Christ. We must not allow this to happen. Eternity has more to offer than anything the world can present to us at the moment.

Go further in your walk with God this year; dig new wells. Go the extra mile in your work and career. You cannot afford to be stagnant. Go forward. Innovate, improve and implement new things at work that will set you apart from the rest. You have the Holy Spirit in you. See 1 John 2:27; Job 32:8.

Also, you must learn to overcome obstacles. Isaac dug new wells at every point of struggle. We must fight stagnation and limitations at all cost. The Bible says, “He moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, ‘For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land’ ” (Genesis 26:22).

God will work with us and in us; we must join Him. This is a double word and revelation. May the Lord bless you with light and grace to understand its implications in your life. Amen. Shalom.
