Ask Him
John 11: 17-44
But even now I know that God will give you whatever you ask (John 11:22, NLT).
It is great to be alive and to be in the will of God and live for His glory. As I think about the word that the Lord gave us for this month, the question that comes to my mind is: What shall we do to experience the power of resurrection in our lives and situations?
The following thoughts came to my mind. May the Lord use them to minister to you:
- We need to call on Jesus. We need to send for Him and tell Him about our dead situation.
- We must believe that He is who He says He is – the resurrection and the life and He is able to do something about our case.
- We must be willing to roll away the stone of doubts, fear and preconceived ideas.
- When He shows us what to do, we must be willing to obey. This may include going back to the basis to know where we lost it. We may have to roll away the stone and speak the word of faith and hope to ourselves and our situations.
- We must trust God and believe that when we pray, He will answer us.
Remember, your Lazarus could be anything. Take time to apply this word to the situation. Friend, I am looking forward to what God will do in our lives this quarter, because I know He will do what He says. Please share your testimonies with us. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Pray for yourself and the Lazarus in your life that you want God to raise to life.
