Lamentation 3:22-33
Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not (Lamentation 3: 22).

No matter where we are in our journey of recovery and restoration, one thing that we need to know and understand is that God is the One who restores. He is the One who helps us and leads us in our recovery. It does not matter how much you pray and fast, or how much work you put in, if the Lord is not in it will be fruitless.

That is why I love what the prophet says in Malachi 3:6, “For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed”. Yes, we are not consumed and hopeless because our God does not change. He has promised to help and He will help us. Let this be our hope.

God’s grace and mercy is the reason for any recovery and restoration we may have experienced or hope to experience. Because of this, I am bold to say that God is the game changer. He knows if the move we make will lead to victory or not. He knows where the Boazes of life are. He knows how to guide you with His eyes to the right field, where the manager will offer you a job that will open more doors for you and move you to the next level.

Please, do not neglect the Lord in your quest for recovery. He is the Lord and His mercies are new every morning. Wait on Him and He will answer you. Shalom.
