Father, Lead Me To My Boaz
Ruth 2:1-5
Then Boaz said to his servant who was in charge of the reapers, “Whose young woman is this?” (Ruth 2:5).
Today, we pause to pray and ask the Lord to lead us to our Boaz. The story of Naomi and Ruth would have been incomplete without the second man in the story, Boaz.
Who is a Boaz? In this story he was a wealthy man and a relative of Elimelech. But in application, a Boaz is someone you need to meet to get you to your next level. He is the man or woman God has positioned to help and bless you. Generally, a Boaz will favor you. They are usually attracted to you because you have been favored by God.
Boaz saw Ruth. Many of us have stood before great men and women yet they did not see nor have interest in us. Only God’s favor can do that. You cannot work your way into it. A Boaz could also be someone whom God will use to speak words of wisdom to you or give you an idea that would change the course of your life for a season. Let us pray.
1. Ask the Lord to lead you to the presence of your Boaz as He lead Ruth.
2. Pray that your Boaz will recognize and favor you.
3. Ask the Lord to grant you the grace and humility to stand before your Boaz and the willingness to receive from them.
4. Pray that you will not be too wise to defy the counsel and wisdom of your Boaz.
5. Thank God for answered prayers
Friend, I believe God has heard us as we expect great things to happen.
Your Turn
- Thank God for hearing your prayers.
