To Have Knowledge
Hosea 4:1-10
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children (Hosea 4:6).
The lack of knowledge will lead o destruction. However, those who know and are wise to apply what they know
will be saved the heartache and pain of destruction. Prophet Hosea prophesied, “My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me” (Hosea 4:6).
He gives further insight to life in troubled times when He said, “For they shall eat, but not have enough; they shall
commit harlotry, but not increase; because they have ceased obeying the Lord” (Hosea 4:10). This is already happening. It is this lack of satisfaction and disobedience that has plunged many of us, believers and ministers of the gospel into darkness. Many have derailed from the way of Christ.
Friend, this is another reason we need to familiarize ourselves with God’s position on living reckless lives and in
disobedience to Him. The Lord gave us a word of hope in these dark times. He promised to save us and grant us victory if we remain in Him. He promised to love us till the end. Can we love Him too?
Friend, troubled times are real. We are living in it. Let’s get ready and face the reality of the times we are, so we can be helped. Shalom.
