To Remain Unperturbed
1 Peter 3:13-17
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15).
When we know what the word of God says and what lies ahead then we will be unperturbed by the happenings
around us. However, when believers are not taught on this issue, many will be prone to being swayed from their faith and could deny the Lord Jesus when the pressure of life comes.
Yet, Matthew 24:13 remains the goal. We must endure to the end so that we might be saved. Friend, I am confident that this study will boost your faith and help you to remain unperturbed as the wave of persecution and suffering of believers increase around the world.
You will be filled with hope and understanding because you know eternity awaits you in Christ Jesus. The present troubles and persecution will only last for a while. The study will also help you to be less anxious because you know the increase in hardships, mistreatment, and threats to the believer are all signs of the end drawing nearer.
Friend, I am persuaded that these meditations will also help you to understand that other fellow believers are facing the same thing round the world. Then you can stand firm in your faith and choose to remain loyal and committed to the cause of Christ on earth.
Be open to learn and apply what you will learn. The Lord will not leave us alone. He has promised to be there with us till the end of age (Matthew 28:20). He will. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Pray for yourself as you have been ministered to.
- Pray for me and my family that we will stand firm in the faith. Thank you.
