Isaiah 43:10-21
Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19).

Happy New Year! Today, we rejoice because the Lord has done great things for us. We rejoice because the Lord has
boundless blessings for us. Hear Him: “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth …I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19). These blessings are for us in the New Year.

Not only that, the Lord has great plans for us too. “The plans I have for you … are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11, NLT). The future is now, and the good plans of the Lord will begin to unfold in the mighty Name of Jesus.

Friend, this is the year to look at the word of God and run with it. It is the year to expect God to distinguish you and fulfill His word in your life. It is the year to take God at His word and know that God is for you and not against you and your household.

With this attitude and faith, I am convinced that you will have testimonies of divine interventions and the  supernatural manifestations of God. Tell yourself: “The future I have been waiting for is now here. I will excel and abound in every good work as the Lord has commanded it. Therefore, I choose to rejoice and praise the Name of the Lord”. Shalom.
