You Will Be Delivered
Isaiah 49:22-26
But this is what the Lord says: “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save” (Isaiah 49:25, New International Version).
Today, be reminded that God’s word remains true. “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away” (Mark 13:31).
When He says we will be delivered, I believe it and I trust Him to do what He says. When He says I will experience freedom in every area that I have been held captive, I believe Him. When He says, He has given me eternal life and no one can pluck me out of His hands, I believe Him (John 10:29).
From the passage we read, the enemy thought they had the children of Israel in their hands. They thought all hope of restoration for the Jews and their return to Jerusalem was lost. But God said. I have a plan. He told them, “Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save” (vs. 25, New International Version).
You see, if you think you will not survive the current recession, think again. God is not through with you. If you think your children can no longer be saved, think again because God has promised to save them.
Do not focus on your captivity. Focus on the God who promised to set you free. At the fullness of time God will do what He says He will do. Shalom.
Your Turn
- Talk to God about your concerns.
- Ask for grace to believe Him more so that you can wait on Him to experience your deliverance.
