Hebrews 7:25
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25).

Another point we need to know so that we can sustain our confidence is the fact that Jesus is praying for us.

The Bible says Christ is “able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25). What joy to know that the Son of the Living God, the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ is praying for me? It shows that I am important and valuable to Him.

Since this is true, I know that satan and his demons, principalities and powers cannot harm me or take me away from Him. This same Jesus is the head of all principalities and powers. “For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power”. Colossians 2:9-10. Friend, we are secure.

Jesus’ prayer for Peter saved him from satan’s ploy to sift him as a wheat. See Luke 22.  This point should give us great confidence. We have the Lord’s promise in John 10:28-29 and we have His word that He is praying for us. Let us rest on this promises and keep our hope strong. Our Lord is praying for us. Shalom.
