So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them (Acts 3:5).

Someone has said that expectation is God’s wisdom for manifestation in your life. Expectation is also the mother of manifestation. The year 2017 is a year of uncommon breakthrough and supernatural experiences. However, to enjoy what God has planned for you, you must be expectant.

Those who expect nothing, get nothing. Do you have an expectation for this year? Is there anything you want to achieve in the New Year? Are you willing to talk to the Lord about it? When the lame man looked up to Peter and John he expected to receive something from them. What he received in return was more than his expectation.

He expected money to meet his immediate need but received a miracle that turned his life around. His expectation made the difference. Friend, what are your expectations from God this year? Are you expecting a breakthrough and a visitation from Him?

I am sure you do not want this year to be like other years. When my home church declared 2016 as the “year of beautiful inheritance”, I believed it. And I can testify that 2016 was indeed a beautiful year for me and my family.

God has spoken. It is my prayer that you will believe it and expect the wonders of God in your life. Shalom.
